Capturing Life's Precious Moments At The Ashford Mansion
For weddings, events, and family outings.
For weddings, events, and family outings.
The Ashford Mansion, also known as the Ashford House is a turn of the 20th century residence located in Ashford, Washington. The house was built in 1903, in the Colonial Revival style by Cora Ashford, for whom the town of Ashford is also named. From the time of its construction until 1967 the mansion stayed in the Ashford family. After its sale the mansion served at different times as a private residence, an English-style bed and breakfast, and is currently rent-able for various functions.
Listed in the national register for historic places, the twelve-room
dwelling was built at the turn of the century by the Ashfords. It is located on Mount Tahoma Canyon Road in Ashford, 7 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park.
The setting is delightful against a background of giant evergreens with a lower porch extending three quarters of the way around the house, a veranda on each end of the second floor, and a stream bubbling a few feet from the house.
Built of solid grain Douglas fir, the outward appearance of the house has changed little from its original 1903 configuration, after over one hundred years of continuous use. It stands to remind us of the legacy of the Ashfords and the northwest settlers. We take a personalized approach.
